Takes place in Community Hall next to Innovation Labs - 3-4pm on Tuesday, April 12 and Tuesday, April 19

•Advisors receive single page business plans with financials from each team a week in advance for their review

•Teams have 10 min for pitch, 5 min for Q&A with advisors, and 5 min for advisor discussion and team feedback

•Tuesday 3/22 @ 2:45pm-3:30pm, with 20 minutes for talk, then 20 minutes for Q & A

•Lucy Smith Conroy is an independent Performing Arts Professional and Theatre Director in San Diego. Her work has been produced both in New York and at regional theaters across the country. She received her MFA in Directing from Columbia University and a BA in Theater, Dance and Women’s Studies at Trinity College – Hartford. She’s on the LJCDS Board of Trustees, and she’s also a Country Day alum, from the class of ‘90.

What makes a good presentation? How can you make it impactful and memorable?

•Activity – Students fill out final course feedback survey in class (15 min)

•Guest Speaker – Google video chat with serial entrepreneur and design engineer Craig Janik (15 min talk and 15 min Q & A) – What inspires you to start or work in a startup?
